Our Roots

Hilltop Ranch was established in 1974 as a premier Arabian horse ranch.  Marian and Perry Osborne purchased the property in 1985 with a love of the local area, the land and Marian’s passion for animals.  Their dream was for their beloved grandchildren and family to spend time together unplugged from everyday life surrounded by the beauty of the Santa Rita Hills. 

 In 2015, Nick and Nathan Osborne moved from L.A. to manage Hilltop Ranch. For the past 7 years, they have made positive strides to continue the legacy of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes on the ranch, while adding profitable and productive additions to secure the future of Hilltop. Nick and Nathan’s cousin Ashley moved 10 miles down the road in 2019, leaving Sothern California to escape the city. In 2021, Nick and Molly Osborne got married at the ranch and live here with their two children.   

 

A dream to share the beauty and majesty of Hilltop began to form when Nick, Nathan, Molly and Ashley decided to use their collective resources and skills to share the property as a wedding and events venue.
